The following data are available from an environmental monitoring platform funded by the National Science Foundation and operating at Bowdoin College’s Schiller Coastal Studies Center research pier which sits off Orr’s Island in Harpswell Sound (43.7886445, -69.9598874). The data are streamed close to real-time and are made available for public use.

The sensor system consists of in-situ instrumentation at the end of the pier, and vessels with flowing seawater installed in a pump house on the pier. Sensors are connected to an embedded computer which relays the data to a logger/telemetry unit and then to this repository. Thus, these are raw data and have not been filtered or cleaned for use.
